Where to stay in Amsterdam

With a height of 85 metres, the rooftop terrace and the Skybar on the 18th floor makes as the tallest in Amsterdam

1. Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark

When we arrived late that night in Amsterdam, the sun had already set and the surroundings of our hotel were merely a blur. Even bigger was the surprise the next morning waking up to a view of the sun rising above the green park right in front of the hotel. On top of that I was eagerly looking forward to indulge the enormous breakfast buffet being served every morning on the 17th floor, overlooking Amsterdam in its morning glory. With a height of 85 metres, the rooftop terrace and the Skybar on the 18th floor makes as the tallest in Amsterdam and the views from up there are fantastic. Looking back, I feel bad for not having spent more time exploring and enjoying our time at the hotel with views like these.

The Leonardo Hotel is conveniently located in Amsterdam

The Leonardo Hotel is conveniently located in Amsterdam, far enough from the centre to enter the quiet surroundings, still close enough to take the tram right outside the hotel into Amsterdam’s biggest attractions in no time. Our room featured a contemporary, stylish interior, coming with a gorgeous view over the park right outside our room. I would enjoy the morning lingering in our nook by the window with a hot cup of tea, glancing out of the window while the sun was rising above the trees. Do yourself a favour and add this hotel to your where-to-stay-in-Amsterdam-list.
